Iran launched its first industrial co-precipitation catalyst production line at Sarv Oil and Gas Company
Vice-president of Science and Technology Sorena Sattari
attended a ceremony held at the company to inaugurate the production line on
Saturday.
Addressing the ceremony, the official said the growth in
domestic capabilities to develop key catalysts has brought more prosperity to
the industrial sector.
He said production of catalysts has always been one of the
major challenges of the petrochemical industry of the country, adding the
challenge has been mostly addressed by development of new sets of key catalysts
with wide usage in the sector.
Sattari further said that production of
catalysts by co-precipitation method will open up the path to production of new
sets of catalysts that will also be useful in car making industries as well.
