Pardis Petrochemical Plant will launch its third phase by the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 20 2017, adding 1.75 million tons/year to its urea output and 680,000 tons to its annual ammonia output.
Speaking to NIPNA,
Bahman Zamani, the plant's managing director, said Pardis Plant is currently
swapping 10,000 tons of petrochemicals with three other plants, namely Shiraz,
Kermashah and Khorasan plants.
Phase III of the plant is 93.75% complete and is almost
ready for startup.
Pardis Petrochemical Plant along with Kavian, Takht Jamshid,
Polystyrene, Entekhab and Kaveh Methanol projects are some of the projects that
will come online by the calendar yearend, adding 4.6mt/y to the total
production capacity.
