Director of Production Control at National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Ali-Mohammad Bosaqzadeh says Iran’s petrochemical products exceeds 23 million tons in the fist half of the current calendar year (started March 20).
Talking to Shana, Bosaqzadeh said Iran’s petrochemical
production showed seven percent growth to more than 23 million tons from March
20 to September 5 compared to the figure within the same period the previous
year.
He said the output had been yielded by 47 petrochemical
facilities.
He added that output of 29 facilities had been more than
their last year output. The group of petrochemical facilities account for 62
percent of Iranian facilities.
He said the amount of output in the first six months of this
year (started on March 20) was considerable regarding the season of overhaul of
the petrochemical facilities.
Based on latest report of the NPC, Iran’s petrochemical
output in the first five months of this year (March 20-August 21) reached more
than 21,238,000 tons and the figure exceeded 23 million tons by September 5.
