Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marziyeh Shahdaei says inauguration of major petrochemical projects is one of the biggest achievements of the Rouhani administration.
During a visit to Shana newsroom on Monday, Marziyeh
Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs said
11 projects are launched or will be launched by the end of the current Iranian
calendar year which began on March 20 in Iran which is a great achievement for
the country's petrochemical sector.
She said throngs of foreign delegations are in talks with
petrochemical companies, including the NPC, for enhancing cooperation in the
sector now that the US-led sanctions on Tehran's nuclear program are being
lifted following the landmark nuclear deal Iran clinched with world powers last
year.
"There is no single week that I do not host a meeting
with at least a foreign delegation for cooperation in petrochemical
grounds," she said.
