Managing Director of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) Adel Nejad-Salim said on Sunday that production in Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company is underway.
Nejad-Salim said fire in the BDSR section of the facility
had not hampered production.
Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company is a petrochemical
facility in Mahshahr PETZONE and its products are ethane, butane, propane,
ethylene, pentane, gasoline pyrolysis, crude residue, xyelens, rafinite, heavy
aromatics and Paraxylene (PX). It is the first major producer of petrochemical
products in Iran for its high production capacity.
The complex owns three subsidiary companies, namely Bandar
Imam Processing Company, Kimia and Besparan.
