Managing director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) says Tabriz Petrochemical Plant can be highly influential in completion of the petrochemical value chain in the region given the variety of products it provides.
Marziyeh Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister in
petrochemical affairs, during a visit to the plant located in the north western
city of Tabriz, said production of different kinds of petrochemicals at Tabriz
Plant is an exceptional opportunity for enhancing downstream industries in the
region.
"Production of 11 different petrochemical products in
20 different grades at Tabriz Plant makes it a key center for development of
supplementary industries in the region," she said.
The official further underlined the available labor in the
plant that is capable of carrying out different technical stuff, expressing
hope that the potentialities of the available human forces will be properly
tapped in the plant.
She said the plant, given the rich infrastructure and
skilled staff at its disposal, can be very influential in completing the value
chain in the region.
