Iranian petrochemical plants exported a total of $3.54b of products in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20, customs data showed.
The exports accounted for 33.82% of the country's exports.
The data also indicated that Iran exported 27.87 million
tons of items valued at $10.47b to foreign destinations during the three
months.
Furthermore, Iran imported 7.26mt of items valued at $9.1b
throughout spring.
Export of non-oil items stood at 14.68% of the total exports
in the first two months of the year.
Liquefied natural gas ($1.690b), gas liquids and
hydrocarbons ($434m), iron and steel products ($354m), liquefied propane
($343m) and light oils ($291m) were the main non-oil exports during the period.
