Iran's Petrochemical Commercial Company (PCC) is mulling formation of committee for unite exporters of petrochemicals.
PCC Managing Director Mehdi Sharifi Niknafs has said the committee is needed for integrating export of petrochemical products by Iranian producers.
There are 55 Iranian petrochemical companies in 12 holdings that export items separately and this large number of exporters has put Iranians against each other in some foreign markets, he argued.
PCC has held talks with heads of the holdings for forming the committee to be able to address a part of the issues petrochemical producers face with in foreign markets, he said.
Niknafs also said that laws banning damping by Iranian suppliers in foreign markets have caused troubles for them as Saudi rival producers have taken their market share in many parts of the world including Turkey and India.
