Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said all the capacities must be tapped to launch petrochemical projects across the country as soon as possible.
Marziyeh Shahdaei, following a visit to Loredegan Petrochemical Plant, western Iran, told a gathering of the plant's directors and staff that the progress of all the country's petrochemical projects are under NPC's close watch.
In the meantime, she said, the company is pursuing to induce momentum to the sector by accelerating completion of petrochemical projects in the country.
She said Lordegan Plant has undergone serious difficulties over the course of the past 10 years for its completion, but in the past several months, efforts have been made and the prospect of the plant's development is promising.
Shahdaei said the equipment and machinery for completion of the project have been supplied from the world's leading producers of the items which is a good news for similar petrochemical projects.
Lordegan Petrochemical Plant is being developed in an area of 300 hectares in Lordegan city in the western province of Charmahal Bakhtiari.
